Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates is proud to announce the addition of two new fellowship-trained neurosurgeons to the practice. Kevin S. Cahill, MD, PhD, MPH, is joining our Charlotte and Huntersville offices. He completed a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Cahill's residency and internship were both at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and he earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health and a PhD in molecular genetics & microbiology from the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Scott D. Wait, MD, completed his fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. His skull base, endoscopic, and neuro-oncology fellowship was at the Centre for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Wait finished his residency at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, and his internship was with Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. He is a graduate of East Carolina University School of Medicine. He will be at our Charlotte location.
