Joe D. Bernard, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Bernard brings with him specialized training in interventional neuroradiology, also known as neuro-endovascular surgery. This subspecialty utilizes a combination of minimally invasive neurosurgical and radiologic techniques to treat certain pathologic conditions, such as aneurysms or atherosclerotic disease, from inside the blood vessel. Using these innovative new techniques, chemotherapy can be infused directly into vessels supplying tumors of the head and neck as an adjunctive treatment.

Interventional neuroradiology will be profiled in future issues of our newsletter. For more information about this subspecialty and Dr. Bernard, call
